Vineyard: Mas Moió – Font-Rubí (400 m altitude).

Organic certified (CCPAE).

Year planted 2000. Growing system: Cordon de Royat.

Soil:  clayey-loam, deep with good moisture retention; light brown and orange colour.

Farming

Warm climate under the influence of the prelittoral Mediterranean mountain range: cold winters and hot summers (important contrast of the low and high temperatures). Rainfall average between 500-600 l/m².

Tasting note

Sensual and creative. Fine floral notes (violet, jasmine) combine the fresh aromas of red-berry fruits.

Clean, fresh, and fruit touches of fresh red-berry fruits (strawberry, cherry and raspberry).

Food pairing

Wonderful combination with toast and ‘escalivada’ (oven-roasted vegetables),

Vegetable lasagne, vegetable pizzas, samfaina (the Catalan ratatouille).

Different kinds of pasta with Bolognese sauce

Paella with meat, white meat.

Desserts with dark chocolate is the main ingredient or with a high level of cocoa.
