Grape Variety

Xarel·lo 100%:

Vineyard: Sota Sant Joan in Sant Marti Sarroca (300 m altitude). Organic certification (CCPAE).

Year planted 2007. Growing system: Cordó Royat.

Soil: clayey-loam, deep with good moisture retention.


Warm climate under the influence of the prelittoral Mediterranean mountain range: cold winters and hot summers (important contrast between low and high temperatures). Rainfall average between 500-600 l/m².


The harvest takes place when the grapes are at their optimum point of healthiness and freshness. Night harvest and grapes immediately processed to avoid possible oxidations. Inert gases during the process have been the key point as well as the batonage of the wine’s lees.

Tasting note

There are no descriptors able to describe of this cava features. Grape at it is finest (skins and grape). The Xarel·lo variety authenticity at the optimum aging conveys elegance and fineness.
