Muscat de Frontignan
Appellation of Origin:
Selected grapes from La Prunera estate in the Alt Penedès region (Catalonia, Spain). Its vines, oriented from east to west, are influenced by the Ponente wind. This wind, warm and dry, provides interesting temperature contrasts that favor the maturation of the grape, which brings a greater concentration and intensity to the wine.
In order to preserve its fragrance, the grape is harvested in the coolest hours of the morning. Subsequently, a short pre-fermentation maceration is carried out with the skins to enhance its floral character. Battonage for 2 months to provide smoothness.
On the nose, its aromatic intensity and terpene tipicity stand out, with distinctive floral notes such jasmine and orange blossom. The palate is unctuous, lingering and offers the exotic fruity flavors of the Muscat grape grain.
Ideal as an aperitif or alongside seafood. Interesting contrasting pairings with salty cheeses and pates. It is the perfect company for festive atmospheres, after-dinner parties and long summer nights.
Serving temperature: 8 °C
